Lifetime at 25 { Cincinnati Wedding Films }

In June of 1991, there were about 3 wedding videographers in Greater Cincinnati. Most “wedding videos” (as they were referred to back then) consisted of one VHS camera, a lot of people waving table to table at a reception and the occasional “Cinderella Spin” (a young lady twirling to metamorphose into a bride). See ABC’s Wonder Woman Series 1975-1979. It was in that same month of June we delivered our very first wedding film to a young couple on the westside of Cincinnati. The picture and sound quality were rough compared to what you see today, but they loved seeing and hearing everything again. Another bride that year mentioned that her wedding video made her mother cry.

And so Lifetime Video (later Films) was born.

Twenty five years later we’re still telling stories that let people feel their wedding all over again. One of the greatest compliments was a few years ago when a bride sent me a wonderful card that ended “…thank you for letting me be a guest at my own wedding.”

Thanks to all the people that made sure we received an invitation to this one incredible day.

Weddings in Cincinnati – The Queen City Club

Established in 1874 the Queen City Club is the oldest and most prestigious wedding venue in downtown Cincinnati. The club is located on East 4th Street in a 4 story limestone English Renaissance Revival building. The exterior is embossed with the four segments of society: art, architecture, industry, and commerce. The interior (as you’ll see is even more exquisite).

Meet Michelle and Nick who tied the Knot at St. Ursula on November 21, 2016 and held the reception at the Queen City Club. This was the 2nd occasion we documented for the Carley family. We captured Michelle’s sister Melissa’s wedding in May of 2014. Wonderful working along side Neysa and Megan from Belle & Blanc Photography and the amazing Courtenay Lambert Floral.

Imagine attending a friend’s wedding in a city far away from your home in Chicago. At the reception you’re introduced to a very attractive person who not only lives in your neighborhood, but in the same building….on the same 6th floor! Well it happened! The odds could not have been more in favor on this chance meeting for Meaghan and Michael. As things progressed, they fell in love and we were lucky enough to not only capture their wedding, but to tell this story.

Shot in October 2015 at the historic Saint Xavier Church and the new Renaissance Cincinnati Downtown Hotel.

Leslie and Trey’s October 10, 2015 wedding at Camargo Club has to be one of the most beautiful outdoor weddings we have ever captured. In between the heartfelt toasts from parents and siblings, both the bride and groom share their voices to help tell this wonderful story of two families joining together. Huge thanks to Jamie and the fine staff at Camargo Club for taking such great care of us and the crew at Michael Bambino and Company.

“The Art of Loving”-Wedding Videographers in Cincinnati

Meet Emily and Dan who’s wedding took place July 5, 2014 at the historic Dayton Art Institute. It was in 2010 we had the pleasure of filming Emily’s sister wedding, so we knew this was going to be an exciting day. Myself and the Lifetime Crew were also working along side with one of Dayton’s premier photography teams; Mindy and Cameron Braun of Braun Photography which added to the creative vibe preperations through the “glow stick” exit at the end of the night.

As you’ll hear this couple’s voice overs were spot on as they tell their story. We also happened to be in the right place at the right time when Emily’s dad Steve Neal came into the room to see his little girl in her gown for the first time.

“MOM, THE MEATLOAF”! | Cincinnati wedding videography

In Cincinnati wedding videography you become a success by getting hired multiple times by the same family. We were lucky, this was the 2nd time Lifetime had worked with this amazing family. Similar to the 1st wedding in Cincinnati a few years back, there was lots of laughs, tears and always something fantastic to capture. Meet Jenna and Isaac, who’s wedding and reception both took place at the Bell Event Centre in mid June. We had the pleasure of working side by side with our dear friend Dan and his crew from Images by Daniel Michael. The day started at the Cincinnati Hilton Netherland Plaza and continued on to the Banks for a quick tour of some of Cincinnati’s coolest watering holes.

Drees Pavilion At Devou Memorial Overlook (Covington, Ky) has a view to die for. Meet Emily and Anish who’s incredible wedding took plaza Sunday, May 25, 2014 with Drees as the backdrop. Preparations at The Ascent at Roebling’s Bridge captured some comical moments and the weather was absolutely perfect for the outdoor ceremony. This has been one of our favorite weddings in 2014. We kept finding ourselves in the right place at the right time most of the the day. There’s the quintessential Lifetime shot of MOB Sandy Mason part way through that really helps solidify our tagline.

“Do you wanna do a Wheelbarrow”?
You’ll have to watch the end of this clip in order to get this title. Meet a very successful Eastside/Westside merger that took place in Cincinnati over Memorial Day Weekend. We had such a great connection with both Mark and Melissa from the very start. They gave us so much to work with! This is were being a “Fly of the Wall” at a wedding let’s you capture gold. Some wonderful moments throughout this whole trailer.

Huge thank you to Melissa’s mom Nancy for making us feel like family.

From the bride:
“★★★★★ Without a doubt, hiring Matt and the Lifetime Films team was one of the best decisions we made, and one we certainly will never regret. Matt and his team are incredibly accommodating, kind, and thoughtful. They managed to effortlessly highlight our personalities and simultaneously capture all the little details and magical moments we will cherish forever.”

“Our mutual friend Darcy” -a highlight reel { Wedding Video Cincinnati }

This is an amazing story. It’s how a simple introduction one fateful night would turn into a fairytale wedding. Meet Darcy would grew up with Andrew. She also had a long friendship with Kara, but neither friend had ever met. Convincing a slightly tired Kara to go out one Friday night, Darcy received a text that Andrew was back in town and he wanted to see her.
“Just come for one drink Kara and then we’ll leave” Darcy urged. When Kara walked in the room and met Andrew she said “I knew the second I saw him it wasn’t going to be a one drink kinda night.”

As Darcy observed the two together in the kitchen chatting she thought… this just makes perfect sense.
