Capturing emotion is our signature stroke here at Lifetime. It’s really hard to get more passionate than recording a marriage proposal. We wanted to take a completely different approach than what others have done in the past. We wanted to have a description of the plan in the opening. Dan Bates nailed it, he also picked a very public place, Cincinnati’s Fountain Square on a weekend night during Christmas. But not just on the Square, in the middle of the ice skating rink captured by 3 cameras. Dan had also had the jumbotron on the square to help him out with the message. The Lifetime crew had Dan wear a mic so you can hear everything clearly. Please pay special attention to Mollie’s reaction and her hilarious comments “yes please” and “why are you wearing a microphone”?

Part 2 will follow in a couple weeks…..

Meet Darren and Kim, whose wedding took place a few months ago. We wanted to try something different, so without them seeing any footage, we went back after the wedding and asked them what they remembered.
