(Jen and Andrea April 3, 2009)
I shot Andrea’s wedding a little over a year ago in the same church I was married in May 28, 1988. So when Jen, her sister called and asked me if I remembered the family, I said absolutely, it’s wasn’t a wedding I’d soon forget. Just a wonderful group and it was so fun to go back. I really wanted to be open for her date at Norlyn Manor but was leaving for vacation. We decided to postponed our departure until early the next morning. This way I could still shoot the wedding and let the crew do the reception. Both my right and left arms (Dan and Mark join me). Mark does an incredible job here editing all three of our cameras timed out to a great Country song in this opening. Please let this one load all the way, it’s big.
Jen and Scott, it’s ready.

P.S. Look for special guest star appearances by Nancy from Brideface and Steph Carson.
Also, Katie Elfers and John Summers helped make this wedding a huge success.

Jen went to U of L and Kevin attended UK and they STILL got married! Actually this wedding reception was so cute b/c they had Red and Blue sunglasses and beer koozies for their guest to choose from. Everyone had a blast, as you’ll see in the following clip. One of Cincinnati’s up and coming wedding photographers Steph Keller make a few cameos (She’s the bridemaid blowing the kiss). Check out her photography, she’s awesome and a lot of fun to hang with.
Yes Jen, the masterpiece is complete and ready to go. Please contact me when you get a chance

Barely making it through the vows without crying always makes me think of my own wedding. It was tough. And I’m a guy… not supposed to cry! I was so close. I escaped the man-tears by acting too serious during the vows, and not showing any emotion at all, and I’ve always regretted that.
Amy & Jake, you two were so much fun to be with for the day! And your cake. That was the most awesome cake I’ve seen to date! Your video is finished and ready to pick up, but I wanted to share with you a couple of pieces of your finished movie.
First, this is the Wedding Day Highlight, for remembering the really special moments of the whole day at once. Enjoy!
We shot side by side with the amazing Tom Taylor of Tom Taylor Photography. Great working with you TT!

I LOVE following you both to your special meeting room where everyone in the wedding party goes right after the ceremony, waiting for formals pictures. There are some really special moments to be captured back there. This clip starts with this post-ceremony, goes into a BIG family picture, and ends with the reception opening.

Meet Kevin, he’s standing on his tippy toes to get a better look at his bride Jen as she comes down the isle. The collar adjustment also makes this groom reaction shot even more priceless:) Jen and Kevin we’re adding the finishing touches on your wedding film. Should be this week.
We thought you’d enjoy one more sneak peek,

I’m pretty sure Mary Lynn stalks our blog, so I hope she sees this. Mary Lynn and Gerry (Bubba as he’s known by his friends) were married March 28th at St. Xavier by one of our favorite Priests, Father Eric Knapp,S.J. They had the incredible Steve Lyons doing their photography. Kathy and Paul at the Verdin Bell Event Center were on hand to make sure the reception was perfect. The entire day was coordinated by Tre’s Chic Event Planning.
Mark Fortner was Lifetime’s lead on this one and did a wonderful job not only with the shooting, but his editing is amazing too.
enjoy,

Right now, somewhere in NYC, there’s a young lady screaming “SQUEE!” Yes Heather it’s finished and it’s beyond fantastic:) I’ll be shipping everything out in the morning.
I have been featuring one of Lifetime’s biggest fans and her new hubby Heather & Joe since a week after their wedding. Again Heather I can’t thank you enough for all your kind words and support. I love that you love what we do. I had such a great time that day as I know you both did (note the facial expressions). It truly was like shooting one of my own families’ celebrations. Your wedding will go down as one of Lifetime’s best works.
I like to call this highlight “The Time Machine”. While editing, I tried to find those tiny little moments that happen in a split second sometimes and set them to a soundtrack. I wanted to create a way for Heather & Joe to go back and relive such an incredible time in their lives. I hope this is like having your own time machine.
enjoy,

Please tune in Friday, May 15, 2009 to TLC’s Wild Weddings (Channel 44 on Time Warner Cable here in Cincinnati). One of our favorite couples is being featured on a wedding we produced last year. It’s the reception from ” The Clay 10 Year Renewal”!

Luis & Kari, I loved your wedding… small and sweet. And the friends and family around you, they were incredible. You will not be lacking for support and encouragement throughout your marriage. And using the A-Marika dance studio for your reception was very cool and worked out really well!
Your production is finished and ready to pick up, but here’s a preview of what’s to come in the final video.

I spoke to a MOB last week that asked me “Why would you tape a rehearsal?” I said “tune in to the Lifecasting blog Sunday and I’ll show you”. This is really cool. There is so MUCH nervous energy at your rehearsal. People are wondering “Am I standing in the right place?” “I hope this goes well” ” OMG, what if I trip?” Just so you know 99% of what you worry about NEVER happens. Weddings really do run smoothly, with a few small (often very funny) bumps in the road.
This is Heather & Joe’s Rehearsal, and some of the footage we captured here, it’s just awesome .
The amazing Kristen and Rick Kloth from Tre’s Chic Event Planning were there to make sure everything did run smooth.
Couple more weeks Heather & Joe, I’ll be in touch.
I hope you enjoy,
