"Unmatched quality in Cincinnati wedding cinematography since 1991"

Just a quick note…

April 30th, 2009 - 6:42pm | by Matt Pine

With almost every wedding we’ve produced lately, I have asked the B&G to write a quick note to each other the night before the wedding. So many of these notes or cards come from the heart. It becomes a keepsake from your wedding and it will always mean a great deal to you. It also lets us at Lifetime get some incredible sound bites from the day (if you’re comfortable reading out loud).

This is Jen and Kevin’s opening from March 28th. I really loved this couple (so genuine) and very easy to work with (I didn’t even have to asked them to write a note, they just did it). I wanted to give them a quick preview of what we’ve been working on since the wedding. We still a few more weeks guys, it will be SO worth the wait :)

Look for a special guest star appearance from the amazing Steph Carson.

enjoy,

Sarah + Danny-a highlight reel

April 28th, 2009 - 4:55pm | by Matt Pine

This was our 3rd wedding with Sarah’s family. Both her sisters were Lifetime brides, so we knew going in this was gonna be a fun event! I often joke with Sarah’s mom and dad (Teresa & Rex) that they have put my kids through college:) They are a wonderful family and we really appreciate them thinking of us 3 times.

Get excited! It’s ready Sarah and it turned out great. You had everyone here in our studio tearing up watching you come down the aisle. Mark and DB did an incredible putting this one together. Please call me tomorrow and we’ll get everything to you.

We hope you enjoy,

~mp

Live Music Extravaganza!

April 24th, 2009 - 11:50pm | by Dan Shallenberger

Ed & Julie, you had the coolest live music of any wedding I’ve been to! Most receptions have only one band, but you had THREE live bands, and all of them were awesome. Your video is done and was shipped out this afternoon, but here’s a preview for you to enjoy. The music is a live piece from The Faux Frenchman.

Three’s a charm-a thank you

April 22nd, 2009 - 1:03pm | by Matt Pine

One of the most prestigious awards a wedding vendor can achieved is the Knot “Best Pick”. This one is truly special and different from the rest. Unlike other “best in class awards”, it’s not one that can be purchased by adverting with a group, it has to be earned. The Knot Best of Weddings magazine, a coast-to-coast, by-brides-for-brides guide to the top wedding sites, videographers, photographers, florists, and more in over 40 key cities across the United States published by The Knot Inc. the #1 wedding website and most trusted wedding resource. In other words, you have to be voted “Best” by past brides who have used your services in order to be chosen.

The Knot conducted its third annual survey of over 20,000 recent brides to capture detailed feedback on every business that couples hired for their wedding celebration.

We’re very pleased to announce that we have again been selected as the 2009 Pick for Best wedding videographer in Cincinnati, an unprecedented 3 years in a row for Lifetime. The new issue hits the newstand this week and Lifetime is featured on page 182.

A sincere thank you to all our Knot brides for voting us #1 once again.

“The best day of your life”-a wedding trailer

April 15th, 2009 - 2:39pm | by Matt Pine

I LOVE to ask brides as I start a bridal prep shoot, “are you ready for the best day of your life?” Their faces always light up. I really do believe aside from the birth of your children, this will be your best day. This is part two of Heather & Joe’s wedding trailer. Just watch their faces in some of these shots, pure magic.

I know you’ve been waiting on pins and needles for this one Heather :)

I hope you enjoy,

“The fly on the wall” from Sherri & Jacob’s Reception

April 13th, 2009 - 9:27pm | by Matt Pine

The BIGGEST misconception about wedding videography is that you’ll have a camera in your face all night. A true pro doesn’t want you to know they’re even there. “A fly on the wall” if you will. I think this is a great clip b/c hardly anyone (except for a few shots) really notices the camera. I always considerate a huge compliment when a bride tells me or anyone on the Lifetime team “hey we never saw you”. Natural is what we want.

Anyway, I know she stalks our blog, :) So guess what Sherri, it’s ready! Please call or e mail me tomorrow.

Some very nice shooting and editing from Mark Fortner here.

Also part of this incredible wedding were these fine vendors:

Floral Design-Katie Elfers Inspired Floral Designs
DJ- Jeff from Party Pleasers

This is why you need a videographer….

April 10th, 2009 - 7:59pm | by Matt Pine

Pictures of your wedding are SO important and you need a good photographer at your wedding to capture your day. But video can capture moments in time a photograph can not. In my 20 years of shooting weddings I have NEVER heard a bride say she was sorry she hired a videographer.

Nobody knew this was going to happen.

Just watch…

“Boy is it cold outside!” – a January bride prep

April 2nd, 2009 - 10:39am | by Dan Shallenberger

Yeah, it was very cold outside, but toasty warm inside the hotel getting ready. Girls, this is a part of your wedding day that you just have to have captured. There are so many moments that are priceless, and moments that you miss while getting your makeup or hair done. Everyone’s having fun and more relaxed because the ceremony is usually hours away.

Jamie, you looked stunning on your wedding day, and Brendan, you’re a lucky guy! You’re wedding video is done, and ready to be picked up. But, here’s a preview to hold you over till then.

Enjoy!
