Merry Christmas everybody!
When I was a kid, mom and dad let us open one gift under the tree on Christmas Eve. Well, Scott and Sara here’s yours. This was the perfect trailer to release tonight. Your raw footage looks incredible and we’re chomping at the bit to start. Here’s a quick teaser of some the great shots Dan, Mark and I captured.
Hope you enjoy,

So I go to pick up the phone to call Sharon Hall and let her know Ashley and Steve’s production was finished. I had almost pushed the last number and I thought to myself “Sharon Hall is one of our favorite blog stalkers here on Lifecasting”…..so I thought this to be the better way.
Another clip here for your approval Sharon of Ashley’s bridal prep . Please call me at your convenience to see the rest of this wonderful day:)
Look for special guest stars shots of Nancy and her lovey assistant Tine here too.

Ashley, your video is finished! And just in time for you to take it with you to visit family this weekend. Matt will be calling you soon about picking up your copies. In the meantime, I wanted to share with you your opening video segment. Have a good time this weekend!
Such a beautiful church, the Holy Cross Immaculata, sitting up on a hill overlooking beautiful downtown Cincinnati.
This was the first time we had the pleasure to work with Reece Booth. I hope we can connect together again soon on another wedding Reece.
Enjoy,
Dan

Zena, what can I say. The vibrant colors and textures of an Indian wedding are unmatched, and yours was no exception! You and Bob were so awesome to work with, and the Savannah Center was such a beautiful setting for such a beautiful wedding.
Oh, and Cindy Wagner, it was so great working with you and your team for the first time. I hope we get opportunities to work together again! You photos were stunning!
Check out your trailer below, and let me know what you think!

My friend Tine Hofmann stoppped me as I was walking in the foyer of the Savannah Center and said “We’re gonna have fun today Matt Pine, this couple is awesome” She was right they were a lot of fun. And my goodness, beautiful too, as you’ll see. But there’s a story within a story with this wedding. A very strong bond between the bride Ashley and her mother Sharon. As I was editing this trailer I actually teared up at some of the footage I captured between the two and I have a few screens you’ll see here.
These were just some of the wonderful vendors that made this wedding a huge success:
Venue-Savannah Center
Make-up-Nancy Dawson with Brideface
DJ-Brandon Lindsey with “Hey Mr. DJ”
Photography-Tine Hofmann & Sara Streit-tmphotgraphy
Sharon, I know you and the kids have been sitting on pins and needles waiting to see what we did. Well, here’s a little preview.

In almost 20 years shooting weddings, I think I have felt a connection with almost every client we’ve had here at Lifetime. Once in a blue moon though (happens about once or maybe twice a year and if I’m lucky) I get an Amanda Hinkle to work with. I fell in love with Amanda ( or “Cinnamon Bun” as she’s known better as on the Knot message board) in our first meeting. Amanda is so full of life and had some incredible facial expressions as you’ll see in the following clip. I knew I wanted to work with her!
“He is the love of my life and I going to marry him today” she says in this opening. The love of her life is Ron Miller, also very easy to work with. I really enjoyed telling your story. GET EXCITED because, we’re set to deliver this coming week!
What added to the fun of this particular wedding was working side by side with Steph Carson One of my best buds in the wedding industry and one of the top photographers in Cincinnati IMHO. I had to add you to this clip Carson, you’re a blast to work with:)
Also, the night won’t have been complete without the awesome Newmar Maize of Maize Music who owes me lunch:)

On a beautiful sunny Sunday in August, I spent 3 hours with 3 other incredible people. I had never worked with Cindy Wagner from Wagner Photographics but had heard from many other wedding professionals here in Cincinnati that she was a blast to work with. Welp, they we right. I felt a great creative vibe and we were bouncing ideas off each other within an hour, which made us a team. Two artists working on the same canvas if you will. I would love to work with you again Cindy:)
I have mentioned this before; It’s very important that your photographer and videographer SHOULD work as a team. Otherwise they working against you. Just make sure they say “HEY” before the wedding if they don’t know each other. In fact, I just spoke by e mail and we’re excited to be working with Holly and Mat Sutor from Sutography this weekend 12.06.
So more about Zena and Bob:
This wedding ROCKED! And we got the Rock Star treatment from everyone in the bridal party. Zena fell in love with our work and we fell in love with her wedding. There was SO much detail. I only worked with them for these 3 hours for the bridal prep and the awesome photo shoot with Cindy and crew. Sorry I was already booked for that afternoon. Both Dan and Greg shot the wedding & reception. (more on that later)
Also, special shout out to the make-up Goddess herself Nancy from Brideface. And no Brideface isn’t her last name. Someone asked her that once, true story.
Zena and Bob, this production is turning out to be a masterpiece.
enjoy,
-mp
P.S. Cinnamon Bun, you’re NEXT! Get excited, it’s awesome:)
