"Unmatched quality in Cincinnati wedding cinematography since 1991"

“….one of the BEST groom reactions ever”!

January 27th, 2010 - 8:07pm | by Matt Pine

One of the things we really pride ourselves on is getting the groom’s reaction to seeing the bride. Dan Shallenberger’s team just produced one of Lifetime’s best. In fact Dan called me after watching the raw footage and said “This is by far one of our best groom reaction ever”! When I saw it, I was blown away!

Jessica and Mike, we’re putting the finishing touches on your wedding film. You have been so patient. As you’ll see it was worth the wait. Dan or I will be in touch soon,

Again Dan or (D Shall as I call him) makes this one perfect. Some very nice work.

Enjoy,

Chelsea’s gift-a highlight reel

January 11th, 2010 - 9:43am | by Matt Pine

This has to be one of the sweetest stories: I met with a wonderful couple Jason & Sarah nearly a year ago. They loved our work, but we were out of their budget for wedding videography. Sarah continued her search, but kept coming back to our website and the Lifecasting blog. “Nobody pulled on my heart strings like Lifetime” she told me later. She finally gave up, thinking we were just out of her price range and that she would have to settle for another company. Enter Chelsea, Sarah’s sister. “All she talked about was Lifetime” Chelsea told me. “I’d love to do this for them as a wedding gift”. So Chelsea and I met at the Taft Museum in Cincinnati and finalized all the plans. I gave her a special custom package, plus a Lifetime DVD that she wrapped and gave to Sarah at her bridal shower. When Sarah opened it she said “What’s this?” “I booked Lifetime for you Sarah, they’re going to shoot your wedding”. Sarah screamed, she was elated.

This is their first preview of the wonderful things to come. Special thanks to Dan and Greg for making this look so fantastic.

And thank you Chelsea for contacting me and letting us give Sarah and Jason a masterpiece.

What an absolutely amazing sister you have Sarah.

I’ll be in touch soon,

Enjoy,

Wedding at a Glance – a highlight film

October 3rd, 2009 - 12:23am | by Dan Shallenberger

Lindsey, you have been so patient with me waiting for your wedding video, and I appreciate it so much! Everything is looking awesome so far. I did finish your highlight video, though, and wanted to share it with you here on Lifecasting.

You and Mark were so easy to work with, and you looked so beautiful on your wedding day! I absolutely love working at the Manor House, and the day turned out so awesome. And Ben & Brenda were a blast to hang out with all day. The photoshoots went great, and you both were up for anything… which resulted in some incredible photos and video footage.

Enjoy your highlight!

Special moment with dad – a photoshoot

September 17th, 2009 - 2:17am | by Dan Shallenberger

I’ve never seen such an emotional first moment with the bride and dad as with JT and Natasha’s wedding. Both Joe and I were wiping our eyes afterwards. I think that’s such a special moment, and just love capturing it.

Natasha, your video is almost done. We should be calling within just a few days! But in the meantime, I wanted to share not only your special moment with your dad, but the subsequent photoshoot.

Enjoy!

Peace,
Dan

“oh wow, I am ExCiTeD!” – a wedding trailer

July 29th, 2009 - 8:45pm | by Dan Shallenberger

That’s how Alison responded when I told her that her trailer would be ready today. And I was excited to work on it!

Alison, there’s so much great footage from your wedding, it was really hard to choose what to use. But, I chose and it’s done! Your wedding day was just spectacular! And I LOVED the Paris theme at the reception. Nancy from Brideface had you looking absolutely stunning, and working with Cincy Event Planning was an awesome experience. Courtenay Lambert Floral, just amazing. And as always, Bambino was a blast.

Justin & Alison, enjoy your teaser trailer.

Joel & Alli – a wedding opening

July 25th, 2009 - 2:16pm | by Dan Shallenberger

I love shooting Friday night weddings, and this was no exception. From the beautiful Knox Presbyterian church to the as usual stunning Drees Pavilion, everything was amazing. And working with April from Bluebird Photography and Steve Bender at the reception just topped off an incredible night.

Joel & Alli, your production is almost finished. We’ll be calling early next week! Here’s a sneak peek of the dvd opening. Big thanks to the amazing & talented Matt Pine for most of the shots in the middle of this opening.

Dan

Photoshoot at Eden Park

July 15th, 2009 - 11:40pm | by Dan Shallenberger

I love going on photo shoots. Most photographers make it fun and dynamic, which makes for great video… and Jacalyn Mains of JMM Photography came through! That was a fun photo shoot. And the usual outgoing group of guys give me plenty to shoot.

Kathy & Kevin, your video is almost ready! But while waiting for the dupes, here’s a sneak peak of the photoshoot at Eden Park.

Church: St Ignatius

Dan
