So, I’m Really Not Sure I Want You at My Wedding

1From time to time, I will get a call from a bride who’s on the fence….BIG time. “I really didn’t plan on hiring a videographer” they say. “Why?” (my favorite rebuttal). “I dunno….. I’d hate to have a camera in my face all night and I just don’t know if I need to spend the extra money” is what is heard sometimes. So why do you want a wedding filmmaker (our preferred title) at your ceremony??

Maybe to capture split second moments in time? Like in the clip below. Notice most of these shots were captured without the person even aware we were there. Pure magic.

Meet Sarah and Jason: (Who really did want Lifetime at their wedding:)) but because of planning from afar, I didn’t meet until the day of their wedding. Sarah’s mom and dad booked us early and handled everything. I have only had this experience with both the bride and groom a few times in 20 years; I felt like I knew them already. Their voice overs (recorded prior to the wedding) are simply amazing. I never met these people and we’re talking to me like we were old friends. I loved it. We just clicked and they spoke from the heart as you’ll hear.

What made this wedding even more special was working side by side with two fantastic people. The wedding coordinator Heidi from I Thee Wed and Laura Leppert from Leppert Photography. I highly recommend both of these wedding pros if you’re still searching.

Please make sure your speakers are on, ’cause what you’ll hear is unforgettable.
